Silver Ridge Lodge

"The Silver Ridge Lodge may not look like much when you first pull in, don't let that fool you. My room (the whole place) was updated, very comfortable and clean. I had a king bed room and there was even a rocking chair in addition to a desk and chair, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There are two hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) and a sauna. The hot tub was nice and hot, as was the sauna. Both were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, Thank you CeCe. And the young woman in the breakfast area was quick to keep things stocked and tables clean. Breakfast was hardy with both waffles and pancakes available, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and more. They even had fresh blueberries. Best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time. I highly recommend Silver Ridge Lodge."

"Clean room comfortable beds. I think the handyman has their hands busy with this place. Very aged so little things here and there but they keep the essentials running and to my notice of a problem seriously. The one warning to travelers is all rooms appear to allow smoking directly outside the doors and have ashtray at each door. Because of this when the wind is right the AC can bring the second hand smoke into the room. Not majorly but I know some people have allergies to secondhand smoke. So if that is you I’d recommend elsewhere."

"I loved sleeping in this tipi. It was something I had always wanted to do. The bed was very comfortable. There was lighting, a small table, a fan. The host at Goat Mountain Lodge was excellent, and very friendly. The lodge has chickens and goats, and a couple dogs, and a llama. Lot's of hummingbirds are on the property feeding, along with ducks. If you love the great outdoors, hanging with animals, seeing the gorgeous stars at night - this lodge is the experience you need. The host works very hard and offers a breakfast the next morning at a great price for all she makes and serves for you. Awesome food. Great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again. Next time, I may stay in the lodge for a different experience."
