"Property perfectly sited in heart of Mastichari. Welcome at airport by Michael and son. No criticism whatsoever as they made us feel welcome. Problem is with the local authorities who for many years have allowed the area around the pier to smell strongly of raw sewage. I feel very sorry for owners such as Michael who, try their best but seem to be hampered by a local authority who do not care."

There were also constant issues with corridor lighting not being turned off. We moved rooms eventually, which did help. However, overall I wouldn't go back because of the noise issue and the general quality of some of the rooms."

"I could say a few negative things, about toilet rolls and the doors being near impossible to lock. But it's great value for money and the pool is a proper job, not the glorified paddling pool that you get with some appartments. Good location, would go there again."

"Though it says that they will come and get you from the airport when I contacted the property they would only do this until 9pm. No good for my Easyjet flight arriving at 9:20pm. This left us in the taxi queue which took more than an hour to get a taxi. Apparently in high season it can take 2 hours! Taxis very expensive, 28 euros for 10 minute ride. There is not much in Marmari. The map looked like Anthia was set back a couple of blocks from the beach.in fact it is surrounded by scrub land....

"We booked a twin bedded studio with kitchen area. We were given a tiny dark room with one bed and a balcony facing an internal courtyard and staff’s homes. We asked numerous times for the room we had paid for and finally moved 24 hours later. This room was still nothing like the photos on Expedia and the air conditioning was broken. "Nektarios is a wonderful host for his hotel! He was available to check us in super late (thanks to the late ferry from Kos) and had fresh fruit, water, and wine waiting for us. The wifi was strong and the room was beautiful and clean, with daily housekeeping included.
