"We stayed at Chiado 44 for 2 nights. When we arrived the staff helped with our luggage right away and put it in our room for us. They helped orient us to the city and offered coffee etc. The room was very clean, had a little balcony and the shower was great with great water pressure. The hotel is located in the Chiado area up on the hill. So, be ready to walk some hills if you plan on going to other areas like Biaxa and Alfama. Use Uber and public transportation. Pretty cheap. "Beautiful space, very dark in the stairwell so a bit of a challenge figuring out the right door and getting the code put in, but once in everything was very clean, stylish, secure, and comfortable! Easy to walk to all sorts of restaurants and visit the rest of the city. Great location. Definitely recommend, and would stay here again!"

"Nice renovated home. The suite was very clean. It is across the street from their Parliament house. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. The street cars run closely. I would whole heartedly recommend this suite."

"It is really a palace with four inch thick doors 12 foot wide staircases and soaring ceilings. The courtyard is magazine worthy and you'll never hear a sound due to two foot thick walls and solid stone floors. The room amenities are complete, anything you can think of they have it checked off. I have travelled the world, I can't think of a kinder staff."
