We had the most beautiful view from our spacious room. Our beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We were able to easily walk everywhere we needed to go."

"Hotel was beyond what we imagined and it exceeded many of our expectations. First of all it’s in the Hiroshima train station and we rode the Shinkansen to get there and easy access to the bus at the North entrance because we utilize the JR Kansai-Hiroshima 5 day Area Pass. So Easy and very convenient to commute to our destinations and attractions because we were within the vicinity. The train station has a lot of restaurants, shops, movie theater, etc. The hotel was beautiful and one of the best breakfasts we had in Japan. They also have free flow which the restaurant provides drinks and snacks 2x in the evening between 3-6 pm and 9-10 pm if your plan comes with it. All the staff was welcoming with a wonderful and kind hospitality. No onsen but our room had the shower and tub combo and I was able to do a bath every night which was so relaxing after a day of exploring. Another plus was the toilet was separate from the bath, makes getting ready more efficient when traveling with someone…in my case, my husband. Effortless luggage transfers and the staff was very accommodating and filled out our paperwork and even called the next hotel to confirm reservation to verify our belongings went to the right place. The observation deck was a plus where we hung out on our first night to take in the city’s skyline and enjoyed the view. Overall love this hotel and will definitely book another stay with them when I visit on the future."

"We loved this hotel! The buffet breakfast was quite extravagant - there were almost too many options! The hotel has a public bath/sento. It is not tattoo friendly, though I had no issues using it with a tattoo cover. It was just one bath, but it was relaxing. The room was well layed out and the bathroom was a decent size. There was a bit of a strange smell in the lobby and common areas when we first arrived, but it disappeared by the next day and must have been a weird fluke occurrence. It didn't bother us any other day. We assume it was maintenance. It's just a short walk from a tram station and relatively close to the Peace Memorial Park. Would definitely recommend this place!"

"This was one of those accommodation picks that you can’t believe how good your luck is! I looked at the website and the traditional look was what drew me in first but when I arrived, the whole feel of the guesthouse was tranquil beyond what I could have expected. The garden is a place of beautiful and with the sizeable range of Koi in the pond, a wonderful place to spend some time, actually every breakfast and peaceful evening. Of course the Mitaki temple is only 100m away but it allows you to feel a million miles away, the tearoom and moss garden were a particular favourite. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything you needed, the powerful shower at the end of a sweaty day was a saviour. They have great facilities for your clothes, with an outside space to dry stuff. In the Center of the house there is a warm water foot bath, taken from the hot spring by the property and a great way to ease the tired feet and have a chat with fellow guests. There are artefacts around the house that are a pleasure to see. They have beautiful light shades that have been crafted by temple carpenters and I covet greatly. You will not find better hosts, caring and attentive, to be honest I want them to adopt me but I’m 60 and a bit of a handful, I would wish me on them! This was one of my highlights of my Japan visit so far, I don’t want to leave! Come stay, you will be better for it!"
