Maistra Select Astarea Hotel

"I had an issue with my previous lodging and hotels. Com offered to rebook me at Astarea Mlini. I don’t normally do resorts, but I was really blown away by the service and cleanliness. The staff was friendly and had great suggestions, the on staff eateries were nice. Prices were fair for a resort considering how everything in Dubrovnik Old Town is 2-3€ more. There were plenty of seats in the breakfast area both inside and outside and numerous options. I found the walk to the bus a bit much, it was on a windy road with little to no sidewalk and the bus schedule was a bit all over the place, so the hotel recommended the Adrianna boat- it was 15€ road trip and a stunning ride to Old Town. The beach and indoor pool were favorites."

"This is obviously an older hotel but it has been maintained and is quite clean. The pool is older but beautiful and the views are lovely. The staff was very helpful. Having a little market on site was very convenient. They made a recommendation for a restaurant off-site, that was within walking distance and very good. The room was large but sparse, yet very clean. There is no internet in the rooms. Although we also stayed at fabulous 5-star hotels on this trip, this hotel had the best shower in terms of water pressure. Overall, it was good. Conveniently located to the airport and reasonably priced."
