Quaint Home In Town With Rural Feel!

Welcome to Desert Blue

This home is for 4 guests or less. It is not able to accommodate large trailers as it is on a narrow access road and a dead end. It would be difficult to turn around.

Our remodeled home is in the heart of Moab but feels a world away. The house is situated down a dirt lane which turns into a private road with very little traffic. It is quiet and peaceful with a truly rural feel. Our location is ideal! It is easy walking distance to main street; the recreation center with pool and fitness center; paved bike path and many other conveniences of town.

This older home has been remodeled. We have custom cabinets, granite counter tops, beautiful hard wood floor through out and new kitchen appliances. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with walk in showers. The large bedroom has a king size memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed with its own full bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is very small. The furnishings are uniquely rustic and eclectic with a luxurious at home feel.

Enjoy sitting or eating on the back patio in the large newly landscaped yard. We have a BBQ grill on the patio and also other seating areas around the property for you to relax and enjoy the surrounding red rock views. This lot is very private!

Going to town? No need to deal with parking when visiting main street. We have plenty of parking.

This is a great place to unwind after all your Moab adventures. .... come, put up your feet and enjoy!

Great stay

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this wonderful property. Clean, comfortable beds, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and well equipped kitchen. We especially liked relaxing on the patio in the afternoons after our hikes in Arches and Canyon Lands. Would stay again

Mother daughter trip

We were so happy with our stay. We felt safe and the place was spotless. The only problem we had was a huge party next door that lasted until 11-12pm. We think it was the Moab theater and the dubstep like bass was off the charts and shook the windows. Many of the people at the party/show wandered into our driveway and got close to our vehicle. Other than that happening one night, everything was perfect and we had the best time

Perfect stay in Moab

House is well laid out for a family or two couples. Really exceptionally clean and comfortable on a lovely property. Very short walk to the main drag but nonetheless quiet and tucked away. It was perfect!

Great Home in a Great Location

This home is awesome! Lots of space inside and outside, modern appliances and comfortable beds. Walking distance to the main shopping area and excellent restaurants (try Thai Bella). Highly recommend - we'll be back 😁

This was one of our family’s favorite vacation rental houses. Comfortable beds, fully stocked with essentials, and quiet but within walking distance of the main street. We walked to several restaurants and shops while we stayed. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely come again!

Perfect location and fantastic host

Absolutely the best 3 bedroom house to stay at in Moab. Walking distance to everywhere downtown and quiet neighbors when you just want to chill inside or outside the house. This newly remodeled house is in fantastic condition and has everything you'll need, and the host quickly replies to any question that you may have. A great place to stay!

Close to all the parks to explore around Moab and walkable to restaurants in Moab. Quiet neighbourhood. Very clean, and the owner was quick to respond and to solve any issue. Comfortable beds. Great to have a possibility to park the care in the shade in those very hot summerdays. Very recommendable

This property has everything you'll need and within walking distance of Downtown. Hint - Try to get to and from the property using Shields Lane to avoid the potholes on Center Avenue.

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at…

We travel quite a bit and have had many VRBO experiences. This was by far the best. From the pristine cleanliness, to the spaciousness of the house, the convenient location to town, the cozy outdoor space, the comfortable beds, the attention to detail in this house was incredible. We had everything we needed here during our stay. For the price, it really can’t be beat. Highly recommend staying here for your Moab vacation.

Quiet & Central Location

As commented by other travelers, the home is near the main Moab activity for shopping and dinning yet with a sense of seclusion and the house has everything you need. You'll feel you are in the countryside, not in a tourist town. Every comfortable accommodations for two couples. If you are considering several options to stay in Moab, consider no more. Location was great. Beds comfortable. Living space was roomy. Outdoor areas were amazing! Enjoyed our meals on the patio. Glad to have games available. Contact with Andrea was easy; she responded immediately. Just one suggestion, change out light bulbs for new brighter energy efficient bulbs. Lighting was pretty dim.

A desert treasure

What a wonderful property! Located on a quiet side street in downtown Moab but within walking distance of the town’s wonderful shops and restaurants. A sweet little town! The property is meticulously maintained and was absolutely spotless. It might be the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen was stocked and easy to cook in, the bed was very comfortable as well as the living room area and the bathroom was nicely updated as was the entire house. A true gem! Andrea was very responsive and was a wonderful host. If you are considering this place just book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Good choice for the mobility-challenged

This is a pretty little house on a dead end street - right near town, so you're close to amenities. I travel with a handicapped husband - he uses a rolling walker and cane. For the most part, this house suited us well. Although the street in front of the property is gravel, I could pull up right next to the poured concrete front walkway. There are NO STEPS inside or outside the house, other than a raised threshhold. Once inside the house, accessibility was good, except that all the rugs in the house, large and small, tended to rumple and bulge under the feet. The showers were large, but a grab bar and hand-held shower would have been appreciated. The towels were wonderful - very plush. We also appreciated that we could access the house a little early. If we were to come back to Moab, I would stay here again.

Great Stay with Thoughtful Touches!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming home in Moab! The rustic vibe is adorable and carried throughout the space with thoughtful, welcoming touches that made it feel cozy and cared for. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, the peaceful, beautifully landscaped backyard was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring.The home was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable.The location is ideal—just a short drive to both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The owner was also incredibly understanding and flexible, which made the experience even better. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moab!

Peaceful Retreat at Desert Blue

Our stay at Desert Blue was top notch. The house was immaculate and very nicely appointed. The area was conveniently located by shops, restaurants, and various outfitters. Even though it's in a prime location, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. We absolutely would return to Desert Blue if we ever visit Moab again! The house and the town are at the top of our list for favorites when it comes to vacationing!

The back yard was great!But all the soaps and other liquids in the house had fragrance products in them. I put these all under the sinks, but when I returned home I had to wash everything, even containers.
