"What a find! Not only is the property incredible, but it’s the little touched that really made our stay so enjoyable. The ‘couch covers’ made Evie 🐶 feel more at home, and she was pleased to have snuggles on the couch. There was milk in the fridge, home made granola, and all necessary items like oil, salt, honey. The host then arrived and told me she had made me some home made bread! I was really touched by Evelyn kindness. And the bread was delicious! She took time to say hi to Evie and let...

Fechner Place is situated in a very convenient location and was a great base from which to explore the surrounding towns, wineries and national parks. "The property was great. It had everything we needed to be self-sufficient. A short drive to Angaston provided great eateries and walks. It was great that the property is out of Angaston so it was a quiet location. We could have just stayed at the house for the entire time and disconnected from the world. Also the limited mobile phone reception was a bonus as we could escape from work, but still had the safety of the house phone, which is a cool period piece."

"I can only say that our eight night stay was wonderful. The apartment Sunset was beautifully appointed and had everything that we needed. We were welcomed with fresh eggs and some chocolates. We were in easy driving distance of some lovely towns and even made it to the Morphettville races. Our last day was simply spent in the apartment and the backyard. Beautiful and relaxing. Altogether a gem!"
