Phi Hotel Canalgrande
Great location & breakfast. Excellent staff. Downside was very hard flat bed pillows. Asked for softer / fluffier ones & were given the same hard dead pillows. Last night new people in adjacent room smoked in their bathroom in early hrs with fan on for hrs which sent smoke into mainly our bathroom ...

Best Western Premier Milano Palace Hotel

A fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of Modena. Tricky to get to if you have a car (we did) but their garage is secure. The staff are exceptionally friendly. I loved my stay and would definitely go back to this hotel.
