"Absolutely amazing hotel! From the staff to the food to the location it truly is beautiful. Standard of service food and facilities is top class! I’ve been to a lot of hotels in my time and this is probably the best one I’ve ever been to! I’m trying to list things that others may find wrong with it but the only things I can think k of to tell you is, the iron and ironing board to not match the standards of this hotel, and maybe upgrade your room choice as we had one that faced onto the back of the property with trains going past. They are the only things I can think of, but other than that this hotel is outstanding, I would suggest hiring a car if you are staying for a while as the location gives access to all sides of lake Como! Again if you are looking for elegance, relaxation and outstanding service then this is the place for you!"

"Loved our stay at Villa Cuervo! The garden and small pool were perfect for relaxing, and the breakfast was tasty and affordable.Parking for free. Only small downside: our room was in the basement. Still, a great spot for a peaceful getaway!"

"Our stay was amazing. We got in late so just went right to sleep but when we woke up and went downstairs to the cafe it was perfect. We started with cappuccino, fresh squeezed orange juice and croissants and finished with ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Guillano and the rest of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The small town location was the perfect spot to start or trip. "

"Lovely hotel, on site parking which was free on the Sat night/sunday we were there - may be payable @ other times. We booked a family room with one large double and two single beds. Lovely big room with lots of space. Even though the shower was a little tired I liked that the main bathroom had an attached room with an additional large sink which allowed others to wash/brush teeth while someone else was secure in the main shower room/toilet. Breakfast was varied and nice. Village was cute, pizza takeaway around the corner, beautiful lake with lovely park a 5 min walk which was perfect for a swim. We arrived during a music festival by the lake which was great but beware the mossies - insect spray essential!"

"After a whistle stop tour of Rome, we thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights at this villa. The hosts were very welcoming, meeting us and accompanying us to the property as well as providing recommendations as to where to eat and shop for food, plus a very generous welcoming gift of brioche bread on arrival and a bottle of fizz on our last night. After a hectic time in Rome, we all completely relaxed at the villa - it is so remote and peaceful. The villa is very spacious and stays cool during the day and night, and the pool is a great size - complete with inflatables! The kitchen is very well equipped, but we didn't trouble it too much, preferring to either eat out or just enjoy local meats, cheeses and bread. It's very close to Lake Como - and we did a day trip there - an hour walking tour and a boat trip to Torno, where we had an amazing lunch at Albergo Ristorante Vapore. Delicious risotto and an incredible view of the lake. We ate twice at Ristorante Da Rosa in Montorfano- once at the restaurant, then returning for a takeaway pizza on another night! This villa is a perfect holiday retreat - remote and peaceful, but within easy reach of fabulous places to visit and eat. We absolutely loved it. We completely relaxed and recharged our batteries after our trip to Rome. Our only word of caution would be the bumpy road to reach the property - make sure, if you have a hire car, it's not too sporty or low to the ground!"
