"Beautiful stone home, built in 1780, lots of need for improvement. We were four adults, arrival was scheduled for 4:30 on Sunday. The host postponed our check-in until 7 pm. No rationale and no apology provided. This was problematic as we were not able to get dinner or groceries – restaurants opened in town at 7 pm. We were shocked to learn that the road to this house was a very steep, winding, unassumed - , basically dirt, grass, rocks for 10 minutes. A smaller vehicle would not be able to...

"Enjoyed our lovely vacation in a really great refurbished/renovated and decorated house. Very quiet, but central, close/walking distance to the beach. Fully equipped, we did not miss anything, spacious rooms, pool nice to get a quick refreshment. Hosts easy and always reachable. We would come back and can highly recommend the wonderful house."

When we arrived at the airport to find our destination was a 40-minute train ride outside the city, we had to rent a car for five, which took a couple of hours; initially I thought I must have misread the listing, so didn’t say anything, but it’s clear from the previous review that there was an error in the listing at the time of booking. "This place is absolutely fantastic. It’s a great size for a group super comfortable and lots of space so you don’t feel on top of each other. All bedrooms are en-suite and have really comfortable beds. The kitchen is really well stocked - it has pretty much everything you could think of. The hosts could not be more helpful. We would love to return in the future. A few more fly/wasp traps in the garden as we had lots of flies on a few days. But no big issue, that’s nature!"

"Hotel was good if you want to live in a remote area and don’t want to go back to the city. Hotel has got an amazing spa and we enjoyed it. Also, there’s was lack of room amenities such as electric kettle and fridge was faulty. Apart from this, breakfast was good with limited or no choice for vegan/vegetarian family. If you want to visit Barcelona city, the only train station in La Garigga is not operating at the moment and hotel staff will not advise you about it and they will suggest to take a private taxis which will cost £100. Luckily, some locals suggested me to walk at nearby bus stop and there we took free shuttle for Barcelona city. Overall, this hotel is not a 4 stars so be aware. Good luck."
