"A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A...

"Just came back from our bank holiday weekend break with our two dogs, beautiful place. lots of places say they are dog friendly and aren’t but this one definitely is. Enclosed garden, nice walks in the area and places to eat (loved the extra touch of a binder with local places near by to choose our walks) it is very spacious for a one bedroom, and the bed was out of this world comfortable! We would definitely stay again 🫶🏻"

"Great place for 2, with everything you would expect to find and you would need.Very quit, hot tub was fantastic.Would recommend just the job for the two of us we would definitely come again.Just one comment as we are coffee drinkers a coffee machine would have made it just that little bit better."

"The house is good but unfortunately for our stay there was only 3 mugs (6 people staying) . One room spelt of smoke and another of wee. One bed creaked every time you moved. The towels hadnt been aired properly so they also smelt musty. The overall cleanliness just wasn't there for our stay otherwise it would have been really good. These things can be easily sorted for the next stay. The neighbour bought mugs so that's one thing sorted. Thanks "

"Second time staying here. It's a great location for what we needed, close to the Peak District, Alton Towers, lots of other attractions. The bungalow is very well equipped and the instructions are clear making it easy to use the appliances. The only criticism is the shower head in the ensuite probably needs descaling/cleaning and we could have done with a couple more hand towels, so there was one each. Would recommend and stay again."
