Happy holiday !

Beautiful property in an idyllic Tuscan setting. Our three-generation family group relaxed together and had fun. We spent a lot of time in and around the lovely pool, enjoying the beautiful setting. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen thoughtfully equipped. Our hosts were kind and helpful. We enjoyed the Pizza evening and dinner provided by them.

Romantic farmhouse in astonishing beautiful surroundings

A romantic farmhouse refurbished to newest standards situated in the lower Apennines in a remote area - very peaceful. Large nice private swimming pool. Very friendly owners offering a lot of services.

Beautiful house, amazing pool. Photos don't do it justice! We were a group of 2 families with kids (9 people in total) and there was plenty of space for us all. Great indoor and outdoor eating spaces and shady places to sit and enjoy the views. Loved the BBQ and pizza oven and we made full use of the pool and yoga deck. Jamie and Ailsa are great hosts and made us all feel very welcome.

Great holidays on the Tuscan countryside

We had wonderful 10 days at Lavacchio. We were a group of 12 friends and booked the main house and the apartment. A lot of space for everybody, a great pool area, nice terrace for outdoor breakfasts and dinners, and cute cats to cuddle! We had really nice pizza evenings with the very friendly landlords Ailsa and Jamie! The pittoresque city of Barga is very close and worth a visit, Lucca is beautiful as well. Car is needed for shopping etc. Thank you Ailsa and Jamie for the wonderful stay!

Amazing Stay

We had the most wonderful time and we can highly recommend this wonderful place, location and hosts. The countryside is beautiful and the pool an oases of freedom. The house is well equipped with all you need and you feel right away welcome and at home. Everything was a delight and so uncomplicated. The hosts are the nicest hosts we ever had. Ailsa and Jamie do everything imaginable for an amazing stay. AND they can cook amazing food. AND you get fresh organic produce which they plant on their land. It was all so nice we decided to just stay local. The place is so safe even for the smallest toddlers. The pool is gated and the land fenced. Until soon.

Schönes Haus, warmherzige Vermieter, erholsamer Urlaub

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche, einem tollen 5-flammigen Gasherd, herrliche Sitzgelegenheiten vor und hinter dem Haus, schöner Pool, eingebettet in einen herrlichen Garten mit tollem Blick auf die Bergwelt. Dazu Ailsa und Jamie, wunderbare Gastgeber, sehr hilfsbereit, immer ansprechbar. Mit Obst, Gemüse und frischen Eiern aus dem Garten und einem gemütlichen und sehr leckeren Pizzaabend auf der Terrasse.

Italien Urlaub

Wir waren Mitte September mit einer Gruppe von 5 Personen in dem Ferienhaus. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in idilischer Lage in einem weitläufigen Gelände in den Bergen. Die Aussicht ist fabelhaft und die Anlage ist sehr schön. Sie wird von den Besitzer selbst bewirtschaftet. Bei diesen ist es möglich einen Pizza Abend zu buchen, welcher absolut zu empfehlen ist. Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist leider etwas schmal, mit einem breiteren Auto ist diese nicht sehr angenehm zu fahren. Etwas schade war, dass wir uns den Pool mit 2 weiteren Gästen teilen mussten, obwohl in der Beschreibung der Unterkunft ein Privat Pool genannt wird. Ein Insektenspray ist absolut zu empfehlen, da am Pool den ganzen Tag viele Mücken da sind. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Lovely accommodation in the beautiful Tuscan Hills

We all really enjoyed our stay in this well appointed house. Jamie and Ailsa were great hosts and we can highly recommend the pizza evening. The only small thing were the mosquitos, so bring plenty of repellant!

Beautiful house great location

Well presented property-immaculate throughout and accurately described. friendly owners always at hand when required, and provided excellent pizza night! Fantastic views from all areas of large grounds around property we were a large party of 13 -lots of space for relaxing. Thanks Jamie and Ailsa
