"This was our second stay at the Sawmills, the staff , the room and the service continue to be excellent. We will continue to stay at the Sawmills when next return to North Devon for its location and for its value for money. Only criticism would be to offer a non cooked breakfast such as porridge or cereal plus orange juice , evening meals could be improved to offer fresh season vegetables rather than chips. A most enjoyable stay."

"Lovely B&B / Inn with lots of character. Room was nice but a bit on a small side, but this was fine as I was travelling alone for work. Breakfast and dinner was very nice, just be aware breakfast is only between 8-10am. Staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice local atmosphere in the evening. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The decor of this Victorian building is superb. From the floor tiles and reception rooms decorated in the style of the era. Our bedroom modern and very clean. All the staff were lovely and we were allowed to park in the private parking, a real bonus! The breakfast was superb. "
