"Stayed 3 nights in the beach cottage…the view is stunning and the cottage is very cozy…the first night suffered a bit from mosquito bites but the reception staff ensured the following nights mosquitos free. "The hotel was a nightmare, I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. Everything was terrible, even the friendliness of the stuff could not hide the terrible condition this place is in. The only saving grace is the beach itself. What a beautiful place. The food was horrible. "The hotel is in a lovely development with great views of old town Mombasa. Unfortunately there was no water taxi service to visit old town. Customer service was excellent until we came to check out, whereby I was double-charged for a bar bill and it took over 15 minutes for them to resolve and take from my bill. "We had an amazing stay at this resort. The place was clean and VERY well kept. Staff was plentiful and all made sure that we were comfortable and happy. Rooms were good size and supplied with drinking water, refrigerator, safe, etc. The food was all-inclusive including alcoholic beverages. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ, all served on time with lots of choices. There were seven of us with different tastes, allergies, and dietary requirements and the menu met all of them. They served plenty of fresh fruit, egg free breads/desserts (a couple of people in our group could not have eggs and were happy to see a choice of items without them), meat choices, and vegetarian dishes as well. Fresh juices with every meal (pineapple being my favorite). There’s a pizza station, ice cream station, and a bar near one of the many pools. The grounds were well kept, pool kept clean, water aerobics sessions were fun, and nightly entertainment, along with a beautiful beach. This is not a new property but WE ENJOYED ourselves and would return. Also, treat yourself to a “four hands body massage “ where two massage therapist work on you at the same time- WONDERFUL!!!"
