AWFUL AWFUL

The hotel overbooked and so told us that they didn't have a reservation for us after a long and exhausting journey. Luckily, we found a better hotel near by. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

We were very happy with the location of the hotel from where one can order a Uber or a Tuk Tuk for transport. Supermarkets and shops are within reasonable walking distance. The staff were available to clean the room every day and the room itself was nice an spacious with an ensuite shower room. There were two tables, two chairs as well as a refridgerator and a television. It was nice to have breakfast included which consisted of an omelette, bread,butter, jam, tea coffee, juice etc.

Looks good from outside, bedding was nice and chrisp but mosquito net small would not fit on the bed also holes in the nets that place needs major overhaul, lots of noise in the room from traffic outside

good location, fair price, nice terrace

We stayed two nights in separate periods. Once in double and once in triple. The double room faces the roof terrace (internal court) and was quite pleasing. The triple room (room 20) was next to the kitchen and the smell and noise were very disturbing. Overall cleanliness could be definitely improved, and we had both times to ask for towels.

Not worth the effort.

This place is an absolute hoax, I highly recommend you never stay here unless you love to share your room with cockroaches. Also don't expect your complaints to be addressed and should you find yourself having to check out and requesting your refund, you are given less than 15 mins to vacate as if you were an unruly guest. Kindly delete this place from your database.

Room was too hot to sleep, unit set at 16c and blew cool at best, fan did not help. Breakfast was ok. Location was central to old town and fort.

Almost vomited from the smells. Photos on web of hotel misrepresent how dirty, dingy and disgusting this hotel is. After sleepless night I checked out without compensation. Creepy hotel with zero amenities. Most unpleasant shower and room decor. No internet, no beer sold as it’s Muslim halal hotel. Disgusting hotel

Vergammelter Zustand.

Das Zimmer hat schon sicher bessere Zeiten erlebt. Heruntergekommenes Mobiliar im Zimmer und vor dem Zimmer auf der Gemeinschaft Terrasse, Bad ekelhaft mit vielen Rostflecken und Ausbesserungen. Einrichtung beschädigt. Insgesamt ein erbärmlicher Zustand, nachdem auch das Frühstück spartanisch ausfiel.

Alles hangt f van wat je verwacht. Geen grote luxe hier maar een eenvoudig maar net en vriendelijk hotel met fijn dakterras en patio. dicht bij de oude stad en vriendeljk personeel! Kon niet beter.

I enjoyed the food most..

it was a good experience being my first visit to mombasa. The staff were very hospitable. The breakfast was good. Though you need to do something about the news..it require New matreses please!

nice hostel but quite dirty. The rooms are OK-ish but I got an electric shock in the shower because of the electric heater system. The wifi didnt work properly in the rooms. The AC and the ventilator were quite poor, the window in the bathroom was broken and the light over it almost falling. The only window in the room was boarded up. Sadly, I think the price of the rooms is WAY TOO HIGH for the comfort !

I arrived after midnight and checked out the next morning. For that purpose the hotel is fine, but if I was planning to use the facilities more, I would probably make another choker. However the hotel is close to the old town and easy to access from the airport. And the reception was kind to keep my back for me, while I did a little Mombasa walk.
