"Ich hatte schöne Tage als Alleinreisender im Raum Arnstadt und bin im Hotel Goldene Sonne für fünf Tage gut untergekommen. Der Inhaber als auch die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hatten für die Umgebung immer einen Tipp parat. Für den aufgerufenen Preis fand ich das Hotel hervorragend. Es ist lediglich schade, dass das Restaurant des Hotels nur noch Sonntags, und dann (so meine ich) auch nur zur Mittagszeit geöffnet hat. Jedoch findet man fußläufig genügend Möglichkeiten, seinen...

"Hotel provided a pass for the tram into the downtown for our entire stay. This was great and made getting around very convenient. "Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. "Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten gemütlich. Alleridngs sind die Zimmer etwas 'altbacken'. Eine Badewanne als Duschoption und die Funiere im 80'er Jahre Style sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Es hat aber alles funktioniert :-) Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück sehr vielfältig. Obwohl unser Zimmer nach innen zur Lobby lag war es sehr ruhig. Mit dem Theater Parkhaus direkt vor dem Hoteleingang gibt es mit 12 EUR Tagespreis eine günstige Alternative zum Hotelparkhaus"

    "Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold. Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap. "
