"The Fairmont is a nice hotel and close to the casino, but far enough away that you’re not in the middle of the crowded tourists spots directly outside the casino.
CONS:
1) Be prepared to walk far to get to the elevators. It’s laid out like a long cruise ship, so if your room is on one end of the building, you will be walking a while to the elevators. 2) The regular pool doesn’t really have a view. It overlooks the alley way, the internal courtyard, and balconies.
3) If you get a room close to the Nikki Beach Pool, be prepared for loud, non-stop music, like a night club all day! Just ask to move to the other side of the building, if that’s not your vibe.
Good things: Nobu, the Lobby Restaurant, and the outstanding customer service of the Concierge, Bellmen, Housekeeping, Security, and Receptionists! And, again…the location is great!! It sits on the water; I prefer to see the Mediterranean Sea and the yachts."
