"The hosts, Ger and Mary were excellent. The food was delicious and the surroundings out of this world. The only downside for me was the headroom in the bathroom as a result of the sloping ceiling (I'm 6' 4") and the lack of a shaving mirror."

"We wanted a relaxing day/night away and that’s what we got! Our room was ready two hours early, we were allowed to use the spa area as much as we liked, even after check-out, food and service great! Loads of different relaxation areas in the spa, very relaxed, no need to book. Loved that we could go to spa even after we had checked out the following day. Grounds and hotel are lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"We found the Kilmore Hotel in Cavan town to be absolutely excellent in each and every category and actually couldnt find a a bad word to say about it! The bedroom/bathroom was spotless and fresh with ample toiletries for our overnight stay in a triple room and the next morning we enjoyed ample choices for our cooked fresh to our table breakfast plus the menu had a vegetarian & vegan choice on it which was good to see and delicious on arrival on all counts. We will definitely consider a return visit for our next stay in County Cavan. "

"My Husband and I booked a 3 night break. Everything we needed was provided. We ate in The 7 Horseshoes, food was fabulous. We also went to the Castle Bar, live music on the Saturday night and had a great evening. "
