"We stayed at this Hause for a little over a week while enjoying the beautiful beaches of Mondello. The location is excellent-just a12-minute walk to the beach and only a couple of minutes from both a large grocery store and several convenient mini markets.The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, and fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, cleaning, and laundry--including a washing machine, which came in very handy during our stay. "The Modello Glam Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. I would highly recommend it to all travelers. I want to highlight the excellent staff and the service they provided. The staff were very helpful, courteous, and pleasant. They were willing to accommodate their guests at any time and this was consistent throughout our stay. Our hotel room was beautiful and we paid for the sea view room which was spectacular. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars if not for our hotel room bathroom. There were several issues with the hotel bathroom. First, there was an ant infestation. I tried to tell the front desk but I’m not sure they understood me. We had ants crawling on the bathroom counters and floor throughout our stay. Second, the toilet seat was coming off the hinge and was worn down. I would suggest they replace the toilet seat before a new guest arrives. Finally, the AC does not work in the bathroom as there is no vent. Again, the hotel is beautiful and clean. I was very happy with the hotel overall but just faced an issue with the bathroom in our room. The rest of the room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was outstanding!"

"The building is modern and well maintained. Our room was large, clean and the air con nice and quiet. Best asset is it has a outside pool, which are rare in Central Palermo. The downside was the pool was on the roof with no shade and no umbrellas. Unless you like being roasted alive, you can only use the pool area early or late in the day. You are also required to buy a swimming cap to go in the pool. A taxi from the centre of town to the hotel cost us €25 but there are buses to the railway station from the street outside."

"This was a fantastic place to stay in Sicily: Not only did it have a pool that we used constantly during the heat wave, but it's also a few minutes' walk from the beach, has AC, and has beautiful views of the island. Palermo is an easy bus ride away, and there are fantastic restaurants nearby. I would particularly like to call out the hotel staff for being immensely helpful. They answered all my questions, were quick to accommodate, and helped to make our stay extra enjoyable. Be warned the rooms are small, like some of the other reviews say, so if this bothers you, just upgrade to a bigger one when you book. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Good 4 star hotel looking onto the sea. The room was modern and comfortable with very good facilities (decent hairdryer, great toiletries, slippers, fridge and safe). It was great to have a pool but the pool area could have been cleaner. The reception area and bar looked nice but it was extremely busy when we were there as the Radio Italia concert was on. Parts of the hotel were a bit dated."
