1. No smoke alarms that we could see. 2. Smell of burning when sockets/light switches used. Light switches got very hot to the touch. 3. Only 2 bedrooms private 4. Strong smell of sewage as toilets not vented 5. House was tidy but not clean at all. Dusty and dirty. 6. Nowhere to dispose of rubbish 7. Landlady kept hassling us about completing an inventory when we left but had not done one when we arrived. 8. Crockery and cutlery dirty 9. Not a holiday home clearly someone still living here. 10. Electric wires exposed 11. No basins in any of the toilets We will be in touch

Das Haus hat eine tolle und ursprüngliche Athomsphäre. Es liegt auf einem riesigen Grundstück mit alten Bäumen. Auch ein Feigenbaum mit reifen Früchten lud zum pflücken ein. Es gibt viele verschiedene Sitzplätze, überdacht, in der Sonne und im Freien oder im Schatten. Wir haben das Frühstück am Steintisch genossen und abends auf der überdachten Terrasse neben dem Grill. Leider ist die Zimmeraufteilung sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und nicht für alle Konstellationen geeignet. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer in Reihe, das letzte hat eine separate Dusche. Ein anders Schlafzimmer hat keine Tür, sondern nur einen schweren Vorhang und ist dadurch recht hellhörig. Das geht so aus der Berschreibung nicht hervor. Die Bäder sind o.k. und der Geruch, den andere Gäste bemängelt hatten, haben wir auch gehabt, ist aber besser geworden, wenn man zB in der Badewanne mal das Wasser laufen ließ. Leider ist das Haus sehr vollgestellt und zu einem regelrechten Museeum gemacht; zum Teil sehr pitoresk anzusehen, aber nicht unbedingt geeignet für kleine Kinder. Weniger wäre mehr. Aber da wir meistens alle Mahlzeiten bei herrlichem Wetter draußen eingenommen hatten, und viel am Pool waren, haben wir die üppig ausgestatteten Wohnzimmer praktisch nicht genutzt. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt, was auch an der Größe des Objekts, dem tollen Pool und der Gesamt-Ausstattung des Hauses lag (Tischtennis, eigener Boulplatz, Wasserspielzeug etc). WLAN hat wegen der dicken Mauern nicht überall funktioniert, und mobiles Internet gabe es nur an einigen Stellen am Haus, aber wir wollten ja auch Urlaub machen.
