After driving through the lavender fields of Provence near Sault, you suddenly find the road get much narrower and the huge Gorges de la Nesque opens up before you.

Stop near the beginning at the view points to see this amazing view down the valley with the road curving its way along the edge.

Once you have started down the road, there won't be any places to stop as the road is narrow, steep and full of sharp corners.

Definitely a hidden gem in Provence.

"Good size, great location. Working wifi. Very friendly staff and great communication re checkin etc. Fair value for money. The property was basic and needed some smartening up. Be prepared to buy loo roll and dishwasher tablets (one of each left for three day stay). Daily housekeeping didn’t happen so these weren’t replenished. "

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room

"This was a bit of a surprise: the room was exactly as described and has a balcony overlooking the trees and the river. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms clean and spacious, and there's even a bath. Very happy - in fact I extended my stay as it's a great base to explore this area."
