"18 of us stayed in this lovely house for a week. We loved having the large garden, especially the outdoor games on offer. The house itself was really nice with a good size lounge, well appointed kitchen and separate dining room. The local village is very quiet and the nearest town has a great bakery and a few supermarkets. If you're visiting the area to boulder, there's one spot only a ten minute drive away (Buthiers Piscine) and many more great options within easy driving distance. The only thing I'd advise is going with a slightly smaller group, 15 max. It's really only big enough for that many as there's not quite enough spaces around the dining table nor seats in the lounge to fit 18 and three people have to sleep on mattresses on the floor. Also, 3 bathrooms between 18 is a stretch. Communicating with the owner was very easy, they were really helpful and responsive. We would happily stay here again, with a slightly smaller group!"

"Lovely setting, fabulous looking property, although fairly dated. Would have been nice to have had a walk-in shower rather than hand held over the bath. Not all rooms have en-suite, however we were fortunate to get one. This should be made a little clearer when booking. Finally the interior photos are a little misleading as their was no TV in our room despite being pictured with one."

"Check in and ceckout was very easy, property is newly renovated and highly organized, will definitely stay again when we visit the area!"

"Accommodation and room was amazing, However.... after a 6 hour drive in 35 degree heat there was no water or drinks to be bought. The bar did not open till 7pm (we arrived at 4pm) and so resorted to getting in the car and driving another 3o mins each way to the closest supermarket. I woukd book again but stop enroute with more water."

"It’s a lovely hotel in the heart of Dourdan. The beautiful little cathedral and castle ruins are next to the hotel. They have a lovely farmers market on Saturdays. Would stay again!"
