Comfortable overnight stop

Check in process was pleasant, even though the room was not available, we did receive a well equipped other room option. Staff was pleasant, the room is comfortable, but we did bring the bathroom ceiling mold to the attention of staff.

Good Times

My husband loves Monroe. We always have a great time. And this is a great hotel. It's in a prime location there's lots of restaurants around and plenty of shopping. The bed is comfortable but those pillows are awful.

Clean room, but staff lacking

It all started when we got there to check in and there was no one at the front desk. We stood and waited for over 10 min, even tried calling the hotel from my phone to try and get someone to come to front desk, and there was no answer. After another 5 min of waiting someone finally came and check us in. No apologizing, not acknowledging the long wait time, nothing. The hotel isn’t horrible, it needs fresh coats of paint in the walls, and lots of repairs. The room itself was nice, clean, and very comfortable, but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Horrible experience. Amount issues were: 1st room was dirty upon arrival including hair in the sink. The rooms sliding closet door was loose, couch cushions had stab marks and smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling. They were going to fix and clean things but did nothing after 12 hours so switched rooms next room was dirty including a chewed on bottle cap in the fold out bed and Bobby pin in Kleenex box, plastic that lines the carpet was misaligned and sharp. Property and both rooms were worn down. Had motel vibes. Front entry was nice, staff was friendly. Broken bottles in the parking lot, sketchy people playing basketball late at night in the dark some wearing ski masks. Secure door was propped open with a large rock and there was a hair in my eggs. It was too late to switch hotels but for my stay the following week I switched and I will never return to this location.

Nice place. You can bring your own food to cook. The room has a kitchen with pots, pans & dishes to use. I only gave it 4 stars because the pool was disgusting. The water was green. You couldn’t see the bottom. I was disappointed because my kids love to swim and we couldn’t. They put a Maintenance sign on the pool after I asked if it would get cleaned. And I can not forget about Ms. Patricia in the kitchen!!! She did a great job with the food. Friday night she did nachos, baked potatoes and baked chicken breast! Soooo delicious!!! We will book again when we return that way!
