Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. "Walk 5 minutes to a village with grocery store or simply sit by the pool to enjoy the view. This villa has it all! Our family of 10 (adults and kids) spent 2 weeks at Villa Maria and would recommend it for its amenities and location. The host, Tomasso, and chef, Donato, were the ultimate guides and helpers. Take the train into Florence to avoid parking a car. Experience Borroncino Restaurant in Reggello for a gastronomic treat. We would certainly return to this heavenly spot for touring Tuscany."

"We just got back from the most amazing trip to a villa in Italy with our big family of 25, and we can honestly say it was the best vacation stay we’ve ever had.The villa was absolutely beautiful. It had plenty of space for everyone, but still felt cozy and warm. The views were absolutely incredible – rolling hills, peaceful sunsets, and the kind of scenery that makes you stop and just take it all in. There were lots of places to relax, play, and hang out together, whether it was by the pool, on the patio, or inside the house.Having our private chef, Nico, was a total game-changer. Every meal was delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and made with love. We looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It felt like eating at a restaurant, but better because it was just for us. Chef Nico was so kind and even made special dishes for the kids or anyone with food allergies. He was always willing to accommodate our last minute changes. We were spoiled!The family who runs the villa was amazing. They were so welcoming and helpful from the second we arrived. You could tell they really cared that we were having a great time. We felt like we were visiting family.We were in Italy for 10 days and visited over 6 cities, but this was hands down our most favorite stay. "My fiancé and I decided to stay here for our Italy trip. We were absolutely blown away by this bed and breakfast. Not only was the place beautiful, but the family running it were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating! We so wish that could've stayed longer... This was the best part of our trip. Food was absolutely the best and they make their own olive oil. Please stay here and enjoy!"
