"You know, we have traveled to over 130 countries worldwide and have never, ever, stayed in a place like this. In the most astonishing mountain panorama, here is the most extraordinary place that simply eclipses normal accolades. Superb, tastefully furnished accommodation, sparklingly even clean every window was simply dazzlingly spotless, fast continuous internet and once in a lifetime breakfast, (I mean a fully loaded version with everything). Even hot croissants. And the hosts are kind and engagingly gregarious. Medals all round!"

"An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. The one thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the whole place was, with the pool being the cleanest we've experienced throughout our travels in SA. The only downside is that there is no A/C in the bedrooms (there's a ceiling fan), which can make it a little hot during the night. I guess one could open the windows and allow the air in, but the mosquitos tend to come along too."
