"The room was very cute - we wish we were there for longer to be able to use more of the amenities like lounging on the balcony and the awesome kitchen! We had a question about the tv and the host answered very quickly. The tv in bedroom was a little hard to navigate but was probably user error. We would definitely stay here again!! We showed up to a great surprise of a Happy Birthday banner hung up and a cake on the counter. We enjoyed making a fire in the pit out back and just sitting around talking. "The only thing that would have made our stay better was if we owned this fabulous house!! There was so much thought put into the refurbishing details of this house from the beautiful tile work to the incorporating of the existing beautiful old woodwork. The steam shower was so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. The house is immaculately kept. The fence around the yard & the windmill in the back just added to the charm. It is where modern meets history in a beautiful medley. "Door was not secure, it locked but was not a tight seal BY FAR, which let in ALL the noise from outside. Different room would have been better. Fridge was not plugged in and a bug crawled out when I opened the door, which I promptly killed. No other bugs were seen. In room coffee was ok, bed was comfortable and AC was good. "
