"When we arrived in charming Montalcino we were impressed by the grace and beauty of the town. When our GPS told us to stop right in the most picturesque spot, we were thrilled. Our hotel room had a lovely balcony where we sat sipping wine, eating cheese and watching the sun go down. The view looked over the historic fort, the city walls, and off into the Tuscan countryside. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly."

"PROS: The staff were great & gave nice dining recommendations, got us a taxi. Very walkable area, close to restaurants /shops. Breakfast croissants are delish! Room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was 2 twins put together. It was cool enough to not use the A/c but it was good to have in case. There is a fridge with free bottled water. The balcony view was spectacular.
