"The staff at this establishment were so helpful and polite. They were able to accommodate all of my requests (late check-out, keeping my luggage safe while I went sightseeing before a late flight, and printing me a new key when I forgot mine). The area outside the hotel seemed safe AND the hotel had 24/7 hotel security which eased my mind about being a solo traveler in a new city. I'd highly recommend Cup of Joy coffee shop on the corner for a grab and go breakfast or Crostini and Java a couple blocks up. 10/10 stay here!!"

"Beautiful 1914-constructed property, complete with external fire escape. Lovely period features. Immaculately maintained. Family-owned. Thoughtful small features, like a bath duck, large walk-in closet (Room 1105), iron, ironing board, fridge. Free tea, coffee and cookies in the foyer. Lovely non-franchise feel with great personality. Right on Union Square with cable tram running past front door. 10-min walk to Moscone conference centre. 5min walk to BART and MUNI transport."
