Brécé

"We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Mark and Sue’s beautiful gîte for two months, and it was nothing short of exceptional. They thought of **everything**—fresh towels, bed linen, kitchen essentials, high-speed WiFi, and even a TV to make our stay as comfortable as possible. While organizing the purchase of our new home just minutes away, their kindness and local knowledge were invaluable. From helpful tips on navigating life in Pays de la Loire to lending us a tyre pump (who knew garages...

Top Montaudin Hotel Reviews

The Lions Den - La Loge Mantilly

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful location in the Normand countryside near Mantilly. Lots to see nearby (castles, lakes, churches, typical construction, lots of green fields). Amazing breakfast. Great host. Thank you!"

La Pichonnière

10/10 Excellent

"What a lovely place. The owners were great hosts. We originally only planned to stay one night but it was so nice we stayed an extra night. Used the property as a base to go and visit Mont St Michel. The rooms were very well decorated, great taste, including pieces of art in the communal sitting room area. Well equipped kitchen and clean dining area. Tea and coffee making facilities in the kitchen. No eating or drinking in the rooms. The ensuite bathroom was very clean with a very nice shower. The hosts live at the property and were always willing to help. I can't recommended this place enough. Secure parking with electronic gates, you are given a key fob to open and close."

Mercier de Montigny Hotel particulier

10/10 Excellent

"unique building, visited 2 other rooms, very nice old styling. thought it was authentic to living in France. would stay here again. staff was very helpful, no language problems (english). unfortunately i did not stay for petit de jouner, so can't say anything about it. the Bell tower is NOT a problem, slept right thru it. enjoy."

Hôtel la Tour des Anglais

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment we arrived to handing the room keys back on departure we were made to feel welcome by the host / the owner. No issues, good knowledge of where to eat, excellent breakfast, best coffee, excellent bakery items from the local bakery next door. Even let me leave my car outside after departure whilst we looked around the beautiful town. Mayenne is a lovely place, a very relaxing atmosphere with lovely views overlooking the river."

Brit Hotel Piscine & Spa - Fougères

8/10 Good

"The hotel was conveniently located for our stop off around Mont St Michel. The hotel and room were both in immaculate condition. We didn't make use of the spa as we thought it pretty expensive for just a 1 hour slot, but that was our choice, rather a reflection on the spa itself."

Friends & Families, Large group self catering, sleeps 25/27

10/10 Excellent

"Réunion de famille bien agréable grâce à ce gîte convivial bien adapté aux groupes et entouré d'un grand terrain. Pas de voisins à proximité. Suzan est une hôte très réactive. A noter que plusieurs chambres n'ont pas de fenêtre. Je recommande."
