"Perfect for a one night stay on a rail trip across Europe. "

"The hotel is in an old building, but my room was lovely. The bed and bedding were wonderful. The bathtub/shower combination had lots of hot water and strong water pressure . The hotel is practically across the street from the magnificent train station, and a twelve minute walk to downtown on a beautiful walk. There are two great restaurants a block or two away for either French or Italian food. The breakfast was a very good continental breakfast. The staff were all friendly and polite. One standout was Vincent, who checked me in when I arrived. He recommended restaurants and helped me with a dinner reservation. When I returned from dinner, he inquired if I enjoyed my meal. He obviously enjoys his work - he made me feel like a valued guest at the hotel!"

"Hotel's location is perfect for walking access to key sites, like Place Stanislas, or to bus stops to get to places further away. Our room was a good size, except for the bathroom, which was pretty small. The EU17 breakfast is a bit steep in price, but you're paying for convenience not just the great food. Nancy itself could produce a smaller, more helpful tourist guide in English. Warning: No elevator, but the stairs are wide and gentle."
