"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. Had a great nights sleep and breakfast was a huge choice of self serve items. Lots of home made unusual choices. Loved our unique castle...

"Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away."

"Very helpful staff who parked our car in the difficult to manage car park. Great cleaning staff. We had marvelous views from our terrace. The hotel is old, but they have done their best to add modern amenities. We would have liked some warning that the water left in our refrigerator was not complimentary. That was our only niggle over a hotel we would definitely recommend.. "
