Be aware that if you want to use the hot tub/pool/sauna, you must pay PER HOUR and by reservation. Depending on the time of day it cost 15-30 euro per person. This was unclear from the Expedia listing and the hotel’s website. Granted, the spa area is quite nice-we ended up paying for it. The staff on arrival was ambivalent at best. We could hear her in the back when we came in but she did not come out. I gave a hello-still nothing. After ringing the bell, she came out after a minute and glared at us. Not a great welcome."

"This hotel was very nice for our stay. It was clean and very much like an apartment with a full kitchen. The staff was very kind and helpful, we also used the laundry for 5 euro a load which I found very reasonable. However, the location of this is not ideal for traveling. The town had one restaurant which is good but not ideal and google maps told us there were more, but they were all closed or didn’t exist. We knew the drive to sights would be far but 2-3hrs every day got pretty tiring so make sure you are aware of that before you book. "
