"Never got a hold of the host. Check in instructions is to check in at one address for keys then go to the actual home. Nobody to be found ended up having to go elsewhere luckily got a reservation same day. Now awaiting for my money back ! Absolutely TERRIBLE"

"Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. If traveling in a large group it’s best to have 2 vehicles since the weight also impacts the drive up hill. As for the...

"We staid 10 days in the finca Mi Amor in October 2017. We , 5 adults, enjoyed the atmosphere of this amazing place and the perfect care of Ara, Moreno and Papito. Thank you all for your friendliness. The 2 small watch dogs, the cat and the lizards were welcome company. "We enjoyed stepping into the jungle for a few days on our trip. The breakfast was excellent but we did not read the fine print that it is only on the first day. Dominic was kind enough to send us with some bananas on our drive. It was really fun and still close to everything if you have a car. "

"The villa was just like in the pictures. The communication process throughout the stay and registration with the owner assistant Franceska was great. The villa Host Samuel and his wife Marie were amazing, attentive to what we needed, and welcoming. Everything about our stay was great no complains, although coming up to the villa was a bit of a journey but worth it."

"I am not really the fussy type so i let alot of things slide that normally would cause me to leave hotel room. Between the lack of cleanliness and the bugs it was hard to sleep. I never unpacked because i didnt want to take anything home with me. The TV doesnt work in the living room or master bedroom. The jacuzzi looked fun but with the home being so gross i was afraid to get in."

"Phenomenal property in an unbeatable location…Five stars!!"

"I felt the property could have been cleaner, fans were very dirty. Oven knobs also difficult to use. Main bathroom shower wasn’t the cleanest. Had odd smell when showering. Power often went out. Host and property manager were very helpful. Property felt secure despite the look and feel of surrounding neighborhood. "

"The property was advertised as premium property great part of town. But when we arrived we noticed security bars all over the windows and doors and my partner felt very uncomfortable staying there. We immediately told the property manager that we didn't even want to stay one night but was convinced to stay one night but my partner was so uncomfortable that she went to bed fully dressed and couldn;t sleep at all that night. We left the next day but now property manager will not respond or return...
