Villas in Monte Plata Province

"So first we couldn’t find the villa, even the doorman of the community couldn’t help us, when we did find it, they wouldn’t want to give us the key, saying “they didn’t know we were coming”. We had to wait for someone to come and give us the keys after complaining. The villa is beautiful tho, the pool water was extremely cold, so we couldn’t get in it. To check out, we had to call them to come get the keys and they didn’t even know “we were leaving”. They thought we were leaving 3 days after. "

"This place is paradise. Roomy, comfortable, immaculate, with the best beach and surf. The staff is wonderful, and easy to work with, and chef Cristina's meals can't be beat. Las Terrenas does not offer much in the way of resort beach amenities, but if what you seek is an ocean beach, and swimming and relaxing in a gorgeous tropical setting, this is a great place."

"Pros:The property is beautiful.The location is close to the beach, freeway, stores, and restaurants.The caretakers were very nice and tried to take care of us to the best of their ability.Con’s:The living situation needs to be improved. There were times there was no hot water or electricity. For a place that big, they needed a generator or a better system to power the homes. Almost all rooms upstairs had little to no water pressure at certain times of the day. There was no gym in the premise....
