"Francesco was terrific. It was an easy walk from the train station. The room and amenities were even better than I expected. The hotel was right across from Fort Michaelangelo and various shopping and dining options. For those going on a cruise and looking for an overnight place to stay, this a perfect selection. Free bus to the ship shuttles is just down the street or for those inclined to walk it only takes about 10 minutes. Very easy check in and check out. "

"Simple and cozy. Located 20-minute walk to free cruise shuttle. Excellent restaurants and coffee bar within a block. The owner, Stefan, (speaks English) is very warm, hospitable, helpful and welcoming. Great place to stay before and after cruising. Booking was easy! Go into town and buy a bottle of wine and enjoy a glass on the terrace at sunset. We'll remember our stays there fondly. When/If we go to Civitavecchia again, we will ALWAYS stay there. If you're high-maintenance and demand luxury, find another place. If you want a relaxed, easy going, no frills, no hassle stay, this is it. (When you get there, walk into the building, go up one floor to find it at the top of the stairs. Ring the bell on the right.) "
