"On hilltop in beautiful mountain situation. Hotel had very convenient free parking close to front door. Lots of interesting local shops and restaurants, but not cheap. In spring lots of wild orchids near roads a few km west of town. Very pretty mountain drives but roads are fairly narrow and there are plenty of hairpin bends. Also most Italian drivers think they should be driving Ferraris not Fiats, and also believe their rubbish should be deposited along the highways rather than on garbage cans."

"It is advertised as all rooms having air conditioning and sound proof. In their advertising they do not disclose that air conditioning is only available after May 15 as a municipality rule. The room was extremely hot and as a result of having to open the balcony door for outside cool air you loose the sound proofing aspect of the room which results in listening to outside traffic noice all night long. They need to disclose this information in their advertising so that prospective hotel guest can make a decision before booking their room. As a result of lack of air conditioning and the resulting outside noice we asked for an adjustment in our rate and all we got were excuses. "

"Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and ideal location. Very relaxing rooms. Very, very close to the church and bus station going to and from Foggia. Food is delicious in restaurant downstairs. I will stay here again when I return to San Giovanni."

"Gorgeous resort off the beaten path- felt like a slice of heaven- room was modern, comfortable- stayed on the nonpremium side of resort, but was beautiful with elevator down to private beach with assigned chairs- sea was so lovely. Felt like an amazing way to start our trip in Puglia. Restaurant was very nice for breakfast and dinner- breathtaking views- staff were so nice. Thank you!"

"The accommodation and meals are excellent. The included breakfast had many many options, except hot options, like eggs or sausage or bacon included on the buffet. That said, there were many many Italian breakfast options. The rooms were efficient and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The site lines to the valley are second to none, a commanding view over the sea, and this view is enjoyed greatly during the breakfast. There is some walking to be done to get to the seaside. Walking back up would be a challenge with people with mobility issues or have physical challenges. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel if you are looking for a change, but it is a more significant hike to get into town to take advantage of restaurants and retail stores. This hotel option is an excellent choice if you’re staying in this area."
