But what truly set this place apart — what made it unforgettable — was the food. We were treated to an extraordinary culinary journey: over 19 exquisite courses, each one more delicious and artfully presented than the last. Every dish felt like a masterpiece — bold in flavor, flawless in technique, and crafted with the kind of passion you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The chef didn’t just cook — they told a story with each plate. The restaurant staff went above and beyond, especially the manager, who made us feel like honored guests every time we sat down to dine. Every detail — from wine pairings to plating — was perfect. It was, hands down, the best food we had in all of Europe. "Absolutely fabulous stay! We came as a family of 4 with our 2 college students. The rooms were perfectly appointed, the staff went above and beyond. We mentioned that we wanted a wine tasting and they made that happen the next day (a Saturday). The food at breakfast was wonderful. Parking was easy. The pool was the greatest end to a day. Dinner at Cortona twice while we were there was fun! We will definitely be back! "
