"absolutely loved it! the service was great, the hotel in great condition, the pool was clean and warm. the area was amazing many paces to shop or eat. the room we had was amazing except for the fact that there was some constant shaking."

"The house was very nice and clean. There are just two of us, so we only used the downstairs. I took a peek at the upstairs and there was lots of room for at least four more people. We went to several nearby lakes and caught fish. The river behind the house is beautiful and very accessible for fishing. ..."

It is a shame that Monte Vista no longer has their hospital. My wife and I worked there when they had a hospital while we went to Adams State University. We lived in an apartment just west across the street from Monte Villa Hotel at the time.

A little over an hour from Sand Dunes National Park.

We stayed here so that we could visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was a little out of the way and we could have stayed in Alamosa. This hotel did have a bit more room for our family.
