"Decent hotel with a good breakfast. Rooms were comfortable. The bathroom had some issues with repairs and cleanliness but it was bearable. Very close to Foster Falls which was amazing to go to. Not much is around other than that. No laundry or pool. But there is a small gym. Overall would stay there again for the price and comfort. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at Camp McGu. The home is clean, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. The outdoor living spaces were great for relaxing with family.We spent much of our time by the lake. The boat dock was perfect for the kids to fish from and they really enjoyed paddling the kayaks around the dock and inlet.South Cumberland State Park is a short drive away and the hiking there was great. Beautiful scenery including several waterfalls.Highly recommended!"

"This was such a cute little place! So quiet and peaceful. There’s a waterfall nearby and you can hear it from the back porch. Lots of deer on the property if it’s quiet. Plenty of things to do nearby. Especially if you enjoy hiking. We are not pro hikers so we just stuck to some of the easier trails. Sewanee and University of the South is definitely worth checking out as well. Stunning! We loved our stay here and the host was super sweet and very communicative! Will be back!"
