"The property was beautiful and very safe. The pool was fabulous , the scenery breath taking and the hosts very friendly and welcoming people. Close to hiking trails with a pizzeria close by . A car is recommended with parking in a gated property . "

"You have all the amenities of a large, historic villa - and also the real farmland all around you. Sheep, horses, dogs - beautiful, and not in your personal space (unless you want them to be!). "We spent our last week of our 3 weeks in Italy in Marila’s home and are so happy we did! The location was fantastic, the home was perfect for us and Marilia was a warm and gracious host. We asked her to help with booking a chef to come in to teach a class, a wine tour and restaurant suggestions and all were fantastic. We would love to go back again!!"

The host was extremely responsive about the check-in process leading up to the stay, during the stay whenever we had any issues, and even after our stay when we needed to recover an item that was left behind. The property is full of character and as with the beautiful grounds you can spend quality time with family and friendsjust have time with yourself enjoying the scenery. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. "L’Ulivo is a spacious and very comfortable home. We loved all the balconies to enjoy the view from. Emmanuel was very kind and helpful during our stay. It was a good base to explore Lucca, Florence, and Pisa. "

"Just 15 minute walk on sidewalks from the train station if you use the south tunnel that exits on the east side of the tracks. Excellent restaurant for dinner and a good breakfast. Good prices for both. Good wine and drink selection. Very nice bathroom. Would have liked a hot pot in room for early coffee in room or more than one cup of coffee with breakfast. "

"Excellent resort place in Italy. It’s small hotel, old building, very well maintained. Located in small town has everything you need for relax and quiet environment around. A lot of potential activities around: great swimming pool outside, private beach at the sea with restaurants and bar. Great spa with caves style seawater pools with different temperatures, jets massage options and special massages and skin treatments. Excellent service all around. Huge park area nearby for morning walks or biking. Great breakfast, good restaurants around. Very friendly staff, English speaking. I would be happy to recommend this place to all my friends and family."

"Mormoraia gave a feeling of understated luxury and we absolutely loved the experience. The bathroom stank quite a bit but we stayed only for 2 nights and were able to ignore the issue. I also wish the front desk staff were a bit more friendly - everyone at the restaurant (which we visited 4 times) was wonderful. "
