"The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Sicilia. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The food was incredible and the host were just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!!...

" Located in the lovely quiet countryside which is easy to access and a great proximity to Valley Of the Temples and Museum as opposed to staying in busy Agrigento where parking is difficult to find. Lovely grounds, with nice views. Our room was quiet, large and very clean. Breakfast had a nice selection of pastries, protein, cheese, eggs, yogurt & fruit. We definitely recommend without hesitation."

"Villa Carlotta is surrounded by well-kept lovely gardens, with a good sized swimming pool to swim and relax by. There was plenty of parking space too, inside a locked entrance for added security. The room was good, but the bathroom was showing signs of a little age and could do with a freshen-up, however it was clean and ideal for our one night stay. The Villa is by itself in a rural area, but only a few miles from a town with restaurants. We had a room for three and it was spacious and had a nice wraparound deck with nice views of the countryside"

"The host and owner is a.Charming and very helpful woman named Stefania. Within 10 minutes shad us lined up for a wonderful lunch near the Valle of Temples. She introduced our xrivet named Tony who took great care if us. Breakfast was wonderful with homebaked traditiinal cake and other sweets as well as eggs, meats and cheeses. "Staff is excellent. Good atmosphere. But it is not a hotel. It is a b&b. And the access is complicated. You have to use two elevators and two flights of stairs to get to your room."

"There are no problems with the bedroom, the property owner, or the management. (Do call or text with your exact arrival hour, though.) The biggest issue you may have with this place is reaching it with your suitcase wheels intact, because you are going into the old part of Agrigento and depending on your approach angle, you may be dealing with seemingly-endless bumpy walkways, staircases, and roads which allow one car at a time. "The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...
