"Property was ok. Think more needs to be made of the internal stairs going to flat. They are very deep and steep. We were all over 75 and managed them but with luggage it was daunting. We stayed 10 days and would have appreciated clean sheets and towels half way through. Very little in the way of cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom. We had to request a broom and mop. None of this got too much in the way of a wonderful holiday. The apartment is difficult to find but local shopkeepers...

"Of the 4 rentals during our Italian adventure - this property had too many requirements, for example, even though paying a cleaning fee - we had to clean the apartment, take out trash daily and had trouble with the showers not working. "Salerno amazed us so cute and quaint! The property was clean and spacious. May have misread listing but one of the rooms was the common room with the kitchen. But honestly everything was perfect! The host was super communicative and kind. Met us at property and gave us a good run down of the town. The rooms where beautiful and the location was great to the downtown area and even the harbor. Would highly recommend staying here!"

"Riccardo was an excellent host and answered any questions we had very quickly! The property is clean and spacious and a great starting point for day trips out to the Amalfi Coast. There is a wonderful coffee shop right at the corner for coffees and breakfast pastries if you don't want to make your own. The washer/dryer is challenging for anyone not used to European styles but it was manageable. I'd say my only complaint was that the beds are extremely firm but then this is all personal...

"A charming little place in the historical part of Salerno. Very convenient to get anywhere. There is a public elevator just in front of the main door which makes it easier to go up but there is an access via the stairs as well. The communication with Marco was smooth and friendly. Marco pointed out on the map everything we wanted to know. We had a great stay. Thanks a lot."

"We quite enjoyed our stay at Donato's flat in Salerno. It's located right on the edge of the historic district, an easy walk to everything. The sea walk is close by, as are the cathedral and Minerva's Garden. There are many many restaurants nearby. Communication with Donato and his son, Roberto, was excellent. "This property was wonderful and Stefania was a great host. We loved Salerno so much that we booked an extra night at the last minute. Stefania allowed us early check and her family met us and helped walk our luggage to the apartment. The coffee/drinks/snacks were a huge plus! The area around the apartment had great food (highly recommend Al Dente!) and night life. Only down fall to this apartment was the neighbors dog who barked at every passerby. Still fully recommend this stay! "

"The access to this property is not easy (lots of narrow and windy roads) but it is very secluded up in the hills. There were 7 people in our party and we are aware there is another bedroom which is open to let so you may end up sharing the pool/accomodation if this is leased. There is also an apartment below owned by the same villa owners which means you can expect visits from Claudio or other unexpected staff "passing through on their way to the other property..." not too intrusive but be aware...
