Amazing hospitality

Everything was perfect - the staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating, the neighbourhood was very safe and secure and the house was wonderful. Our toddler loved feeding fish from the dock and looking for starfish. The food was out of this world !

Incredible stay!

Incredible week in paradise. Amazing food from Kassandra the chef, and friendly and attentive staff. The home is well maintained, and there are plenty of activities for kids with the beach, pool, and access to the boat. I would recommend this home to anyone!

Beautiful location and excellent service!

Our family of 10 spent Spring Break week together. We had a great week. Service was excellent! Boat rides to see sunset were amazing! Food was outstanding! Most of us never left the property except by boat or kayak or paddle board!

Jamaica at Elsewhere

It is always nice to vacation with my family. The staff made us feel like we were visiting relatives from the moment we entered ELSEWHERE. The warmth, the smiles, the attentiveness was like a warm hug and a welcome back. The food was delicious and an amazing combination of Jamaican cuisine, mouthwatering flavor, and culinary comfort. We were always excited for mealtime.Rafic’s was like an angel from day one. His professionalism and attention to detail was top tier and his warmth and friendliness made him feel like the favorite uncle to all our family. Nothing we asked seemed too much. And he always made sure our needs were met. Maureen kept everything tidy and was gracious and accommodating. She was kind, patient and took care everything we needed. Kemoy was a gracious and accommodating host. Never had to ask for anything because he was always two steps ahead of us. The sunset boat ride was amazing and so much fun. It was the perfect close to the day. He always followed up with us each day to make sure we were happy and enjoying our stay. He provided information on activities and made sure we had everything needed to make this events happen. The Elsewhere experience had exceeded anything I could have imagined. I cannot thank the staff enough the care and attention shown to my family. It meant the world to me and my family and it will never be forgotten. Until we meet again...

Absolutely amazing villa in perfect location

Elsewhere by the Sea was phenomenal in every way. We had a group of 7 women on a girls trip and the staff catered to our every need. The location is beautiful, surrounded by water and located in a very safe gated community. Kayaks and paddle boards were available at any time and the boat on the property was perfect for the 7 of us. Cassandra made us appetizers and Kemoy filled a cooler and continued to pour amazing drinks while we watched the sunset. We gave carte Blanche to Cassandra and she most definitely didn’t disappoint! The breakfast spread every morning was amazing and the dinners had such variety and were all so tasty from lobster to jerk chicken, barbarcued ribs, curry chicken … we were never hungry! Kemoy served us drinks by the pool, and kept the drinks coming all day long. Maureen did our laundry everyday, kept our rooms spotless and all the staff had a huge smile on their face at all times. I can’t recommend this villa more! We will be back!

Amazing

Amazing vacation with my children and grandchildren. Space was amazing, plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Grandchildren had fun collecting shells and watching the fish, stingrays, starfish. Food was absolutely delicious.

Wonderful Family Villa

Our family of 8 adults, 1 toddler and 3 babies had an amazing stay at Elsewhere Villa. The house was huge and very accommodating with bathrooms in every bedroom. We particularly enjoyed all the outdoor covered areas, the pool and the private beach. The staff at the Villa were incredible and so very accommodating. It was truly a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We would definitely come back.

Family Vacay and Celebration of Life Ash spreading

Elsewhere is absolutely amazing with gracious staff, incredible food, amenities galore and furnished with beautiful comfort in mind. The only thing that I would have like to have had was a hot tub to soothe my body from the Dunns River Falls hike. We all loved the kayaks, snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, pool and pool goes as well as the availability of the boat Anywhere for use. The sunsets were spectacular from the pool, beach or dock. Every night we couldn’t wait to see what magic Kasandra would be serving up for us. She never disappointed!! This was by far the best family vacation that we have ever taken and we are already brainstorming for our next one!

Perfect Getaway!

I just returned from a week at this stunning villa, and I can't say enough good things! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. The food was out of this world! Each meal was a delightful experience, showcasing local foods and amazing desserts. We looked forward to every thing Kasandra cooked from breakfast to dinner. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the breathtaking sunsets from the pool deck with a cocktail made by Kemoy. Each evening felt magical with the perfect backdrop to end each day. We also enjoyed some fantastic boat trips, exploring the surrounding coastline and snorkeling at several different reefs. The staff organized everything seamlessly, making each excursion a memorable. Overall, this villa exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway with amazing staff, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences, look no further!

Awesome Thanksgiving in Paradise

From the beginning to the end it was a fantastic experience. The pre-arrival information was very helpful. Kasandra cooked amazing meals. Every thing served was better than a 5-Star restaurant. 5* and More Vacation

Wow! What can be said other than 5* and more. Everything from property to staff to food is simply the best. There is no better compliment than a return reservation which we have already made! Of all the vacations we have had - this one was the best! We were catered and pampered like never before. Cassandra's cooking is wonderful and we left a few pounds heavier. A great family trip with babies and toddlers was relaxing due to hiring of nannies which made it relaxing vacation too. Highly recommend this rental!

An amazing stay

This is my third visit to Elsewhere and there is no place that I would rather stay! The staff is so welcoming and makes sure that you are totally pampered. The food is delicious, and Kassandra always has a few suprises to tempt your sweet tooth. Delores attends to the rooms and laundry and anything else you need. Kemoy is always ready to whip up a speciality cocktail or take you out on the boat. Love the sun - sit on the dock or by the pool. Love the shade - the covered coaches keep you close to the action, but safe from the sun. Love to be active - play tennis, stand up paddle board or kayak. Love to do nothing - you can do that too, and just enjoy the beautiful views. I will be back to enjoy Elsewhere again!

The most amazing vacation stay!

I was looking for a vacation spot where I could celebrate my husband 70th birthday with a few other couples. This was the Spot! It was just like the pictures and more. We enjoyed everything about it! The staff were so accommodating. We loved the food. Each meal was better than the last one. Ms Kassandra prepared all his favorites, lobster and steak!!! Ms Delores was amazing. We took the boat out for an evening ride into the sunset, it was so beautiful. We came from different parts of the USA, everyone was so happy with the stay. One wanted to pack up the chef and bring her back home LOL. I highly recommend Elsewhere!

Elsewhere....exactly what we were looking for....perfection.

Beautiful home, tremendous staff, incredible food, not a care or worry in the world. Hardpressed to come up with anything to criticize, but here goes.... Nope, couldn't come up with anything. Not sure when it will be, but we all (8 of us) will be back. From Delores' ensuring the Villa was a home away from home; to Kemoy's cocktails and impeccable concierge services; to Kassandra's AMAZING brilliance in the kitchen, top to bottom a perfect holiday. We booked a reggae band to play in the backyard for our last night complete with beach bonfire. Perfect ending to a perfect week. Ask Kemoy, he will organize it for you. These reviews are the real deal ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy your time at Elsewhere, we did!

Most Magnificent time !

Elsewhere met our needs and exceeded our expectations. We planned an intimate gathering with only family for our 25th wedding anniversary. Elsewhere provided the perfect backdrop and location. The staff was phenomenal in providing top notch service. Don't worry about packing a lot of clothes because Deloris does laundry everyday. Being waited on and foot by Kemoy and Rafic really sealed the deal and made me remember that I was truly on vacation. Kassandra's culinary skills are exemplary and unmatched. We relied on her to plan our meals - we were not disappointed. In fact, there was a few times when we had leftovers. Elsewhere provided us with a most magnificent time which I will never ever forget. I am not sure that a resort could provide this level of private, customized or sophisticated service.

Perfection!

We had a group of 10 stay at Elsewhere by the Sea for my 40th birthday celebration and this place exceeded all of our expectations! The house is beautiful and big - with 10 people we never felt crowed and there are plenty of spaces to find a private moment to take in the beauty around you - we all fell in love with the trees and the sunsets. The staff was so professional and warm - Delores, we miss you! Kemoy, thank you for tending to our every request - your Rum Punch was too good! Cassandra, you added 5 lbs to my waistline, but it was so worth it! Every meal was wonderful (the pepper beef was our favorite) and she even sent us off with her amazing banana bread for our plane trip home. We had dinner on the beach, dinner on the dock, a bonfire on the beach, and an unforgettable night painting with Island Strokes. This was truly a trip we will never forget and Connie was a pleasure to work with and incredibly flexible with making this trip perfect - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Elsewhere is Paradise

10 of us came down to Montego Bay to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday…we stayed for 6 days at Elsewhere By The Sea…A-MA-ZING!!! The pictures on VRBO don’t due this Villa or the experience justice…this is the BEST vacation that my wife and I have ever been on, and staying at Elsewhere By The Sea made it the perfect vacation. The Villa and the grounds are beyond beautiful. The private pool, private beach and open patio/bar area in the back just made everything so convenient and all the more satisfying. The staff…Kemoy (Butler) was the man with the plan and solution for ANYTHING we asked…Rafic (Asst Butler) was everywhere at once making sure everything was pristine as every area looked brand new and unused each time we accessed them, Ms Delores (Housekeeper) took care of our rooms and was on top of things as soon as we stepped out of our rooms every morning…and Kasandra (Chef)…Kasandra is the best Jamaican chef on the planet…if we could take Kasandra back home with us she would be in the seat next to us on the plane…EVERY MEAL WAS A MASTERPIECE…she presented a full arsenal of Jamaican cuisines like we’ve never experienced before. Thank you to Connie and Ms Winsome for assisting with and managing all of the administrative pieces that went into booking this trip and all the arrivals/departures to/from the villa. Elsewhere By The Sea is a Five Star property that I would rate as a 10 out of 10 everyday of the week.

Truly Outstanding!

It’s been two weeks since our family visited and we are still talking about our week there! The house was amazing, clean, and up to date. We definitely took advantage of the pool, paddle boards, kayaks, beach, and boat. Besides the house being fabulous, what really made us feel at home were the people, Kassandra, Kemoy, Rafik, and Delores. To say we were treated like guests is an understatement. They treated us like family, all very welcoming and going above and beyond. Kassandra made the most amazing meals! From chicken fingers and waffles for the kids to caramelized salmon, jerk chicken, lobster salad and much more. She truly is a fabulous chef! Rafik helped Kassandra with meals and made sure we had everything for the beach and snorkeling. He was a ray of sunshine each morning. They both memorized what our kids preferred for meals and what the adults liked as well. Kemoy was an amazing boat captain, making sure our kids had a good place to fish and we all had fun snorkeling. Kemoy also made sure we had all we needed throughout the day. A true gem. Delores, just like the others, also very warm and lovely! She did our laundry each day, checked in with us throughout the day and made sure we were happy. Again, everyone was amazing and made the trip extra special. There’s so much more I could say! We did reserve transportation and glad we did. Nice to have a car at our disposal. Thank you Connie and Winsome! We look forward to returning!

Everything you read about Elsewhere is True and even better!

This property, staff, manager and owner are unbelievable. They all do everything humanly possible to make it a perfect vacation. You read the reviews and see all the compliments, and there is a reason! Yes, Kassandra’s cooking is the best, Yes, Kemoy arranges all the details for any excursion you’d like to pursue and makes fabulous drinks. Yes, Delores is a sweetheart that is a natural momma to us all — especially any children with you — in addition to keeping the house in perfect order, and last, but certainly not least, is Rafic. Someone referred to him as a Gentle Giant (i liked the characterization and thought it was very accurate). He not only cares for the yard, beach and pool, but also steps in to serve meals and make drinks or whatever else is needed. The one comment I’ll make that I didn’t see “elsewhere” — haha play on the name — is that the staff and the owner work together fabulously as a team. I didn’t realize each of the staff members had a day off, they seamlessly covered for each other. I’ll also note that we were celebrating two birthdays, two college graduations, and Father’s Day for two Dads. They made each of these days special! They picked out a birthday gift (a soccer ball) for my grandson that clearly demonstrated they were paying attention to what might be appropriate as his Dad was watching the Women’s soccer cup on television. The birthday boy and many others enjoyed kicking the ball around the yard! Connie handled so many details for us beforehand — most notably a fishing charter just a day and a half after we arrived. Kemoy’s recommendation to go with Reel Magic landed us a 48 lb Mahi-mahi which Kassandra served during two dinners during the week. Captain Craig at Reel Magic also offered to take us on a private outing to Glistening Waters. Wow! Our driver Trevor was always there on time, and didn’t get too upset with us when we canceled our plans on Wednesday at the last minute. We just needed a day of rest to enjoy the pool and beach at Elsewhere. When we went to Negril Beach, Trevor set us up at the beach at a location where we had access to bath house and other facilities. After a little while at the beach, he took us over to Rick’s cafe. Eight out of ten of us jumped off the cliff! If you are reading this review, I hope you get the opportunity to visit yourself. We all hope we can return, and our group ranging from 2 years to 65 years of age all agree it was the best vacation ever!
