"The hotel is well located, a short walk to the Maison Carrée and the Roman Arena. The hotel is elegantly appointed. The bar and breakfast area are glassed in and surrounding a lovely large atrium for alfresco dining and sofas for drinks. Dinner at L’impe was excellent. The staff were great, very professional. I could go on if I had more time. In all, a wonderful stay"

"This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! The rooms are comfortable, the building itself interesting architecturally, and some very quirky and amusing decor. We arrived during the Pentecost festival, which was very lively ☺️. Some features of the hotel were out of action while they cleaned up afterwards, but plenty of cafes restaurants around. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was fab. I have multiple allergies and they catered for them really carefully. Thank you, Hotel Nimes, we will be back! "

Chez Vous à Uzès was just right, with decor, and furnishings, and brought back many memories and laughter. We felt like we went back to the 1960's .We had a wonderful timeMerci Beaucoup "

"Lovely motel-style hotel. Small rooms but very clean and comfortable. One drawback is that the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't cover the doorway completely, so there is no real privacy in the bathroom. The food was not great and the service was very slow. They did compensate us for the problem with their service."
