"People at the desk could not have been more helpful. Very kind, very polite. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but could not beat the price. For our purpose, it was very well located albeit not right downtown."

"The property setting is beautiful! the interior and exterior is immaculate, spacious and extremely accommodating. Vincente is an excellent host, making sure all of our needs were met. I will say it is helpful to have someone who speaks French, my husband is fluent which helped tremendously since Vincente does not speak a word of English. For reference, We were 4 adults and although the listing states sleeps 9 , the double beds are smaller than expected. There are 3 double beds and 2 bunk beds, one pull out sofa (which was very comfortable) . There are two large bathrooms with showers and sinks, very lovely and spacious, however neither had a toilet, there is one half bath where the only toilet is located. We did not have a problem with this at all, but it is good to note as a heads up if you are thinking of renting this house. There is a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and every appliance you would need. The home is well kept and a pleasure to stay in. Outside has all one would need. we enjoyed out stay and Vincente makes you feel like family. He is a wonderful host and made sure all of our needs were met and then some. I highly recommend this property located in the countryside of France and surrounded by other wonderful villages to explore during your stay. "

"This well located house is perfect for a family of 4 stopping in Saint Antonin Noble Val. It's called Bijou, but there is plenty of room in the 3 storeys. The living room on the 1st floor is delightful. We really relaxed in there, reading in the relative cool while it was 34C outside. The bedrooms were comfortable but very warm in the evening. The apartment is about 2 minutes walk from the main square, but very quiet at night. The pool is just enough to cool down you down on the really hot days. It's nice and clean and well maintained. The stairs inside the property are very steep, as any house built in the medieval. If that is an issue, then this place is not for you. If you like period properties, and can manage the stairs then this is a great choice. The hosts showed us in, gave us the keys and left. That's exactly what I like - it's not a bed and breakfast so don't expect a guided tour. I goit the feeling if I wanted more detail they would happily provide it. Very good hosts. I would definitely stay in this house again, and recommend it to friends."

"This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav. Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. However this may have been a godsend as when it was warm -condensation from the stone walls appeared and covered the ground floor which was tiled. This resulted in a very slippery surface which was hard to negotiate. In fact one of our party had a nasty fall using some tiled steps. Mr Bouby the owner was very helpful when we had a problem with the toilet. Unfortunately we did struggle to communicate when we arrived . It might be a good idea to produce an arrival pack in different languages for future visitors. "

"The hotel had friendly and polite staff. Lots of amenities available e.g tennis court, crazy golf, table tennis and bikes available if wishing to cycle within the surrounding area. There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were also an issue in the hotel, mainly in the restaurant with the waiting staff using fly swats! However, I must point out that during the final 24-36 hours of our 4 day stay, flies were minimal so not sure how they all seemed to disappear. A much more pleasurable experience thereafter. Food was fantastic and large portions served. Lift and stairs available to all floors. Air conditioning in rooms which were spotless with shuttered windows to keep out the sun and heat. "
