"Have been coming here for over 20 years. Clean, parking was close to room and ready before our check in time, It’s close to everything, and Mary at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Monterey!"

"The inn is just what our family needed for our travels- a clean place to sleep and shower! The in-room keurig and mini-fridge was helpful too. There’s nothing fancy about the rooms but they’re nice enough at a good price."

"It is a historic building with lovely architectural features, high coved ceilings, cornices, carved wood hand rails, and leaded glass windows. It is 122 years old so it wasn't designed for modern tastes so be aware of that, floors and stairs creak. I found it was easier to access my room going up the original staircase than to use the elevator in the newer section and then wend my way back to the older section of the hotel. I definitely got my steps in! It's central location made it easy for me to walk everywhere I needed or wanted to go (I was there for a wedding!)"
