"Our family loved our stay here. The grounds are amazing, especially the trail behind the resort. Breakfast was good and the staff was amazing. Our room was very clean. My only complaint is that the hot tubs were not very hot. Maybe 85 degrees. In the states, we are used to temperatures around 100-105. A suggestion would also be to have a few more hooks in the room so we could hang wet clothes after being out in rain. We would stay again."

"Pretty good hotel option in La Fortuna with unobstructed views of the Arenal Volcano with horses/donkeys roaming freely in the backside of the resort. Has a pretty decent fitness centers with plenty of equipment. Pools were nice. Some of the "hot spring" pools were the size of a jacuzzi, but some were much larger and could accommodate many guests. Included breakfast was decent."

"Overall our stay at Los Lagos was very good. We had a few problems with a doorknob and couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV (it is difficult to understand) but the property was beautiful and the hot spring pool was very nice! Overall, a really nice experience with the breakfast being excellent. We would return! La Fortuna is close by and there are restaurants nearby if you want to drive out of the hotel area ! great location!"
