We had a wonderful time! The pool is amazing with an incredible view. The staff went out of their way to make our stay fantastic, especially our server Leonardo. The breakfast was great with eggs to order and everything freshly prepared. Highly recommend!

Best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff is extremely kind and generous. The grounds area absolutely stunning. The food from the restaurant is incredible as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. We got a chance to meet one of the owners and he was a great person who made us feel at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury stay in Tuscany.

This was a beautiful tranquil oasis of peace. The buffet breakfast was beyond my expectations and a lovely surprise. The personalized service from the staff was exceptional and the pool area was a fantastic experience.

What a beautiful oasis in the Italian countryside! We spend 3 beautiful days here and everything was wonderful. The staff was so attentive and welcoming and the rooms are simply magnificent. Some days the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! We especially loved all the quiet sitting areas around the property, perfect for morning coffee and evening sundowners. The deck was so nice for our meals as well. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in the area.

Our experience here was truly exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have imagined our stay would be as perfect as it was. We were looking for a peaceful place to unwind and that is exactly what we got. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, quiet, has incredible views, and the food is amazing, but the staff is what really put this over the top. Their incredible kindness and hospitality throughout our stay will make this an experience we will never forget.

Dream vacation

Villa le Calvane is an excellent place to spend a vacation. It has a wonderful location with beautiful views. Service was excellent. We loved this boutique hotel! I still dream about their breakfasts. However, I wasn’t crazy about their dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back there. I already recommended this place to my friends who are planning to go to Tuscany.

Absolute Perfection!

'Exceptional' really is the right word for this hotel. The team feel more like a family than just colleagues and everyone is so welcoming and friendly! There's passion, enthusiasm and love put into everything they do, as best demonstrated in the superb food and drinks. The setting is nothing short of paradise and the wine tasting we booked with Mirko the sommelier and restaurant manager was the best we've done anywhere in the world! One night just wasn't enough...!

Delicious and fantastic hotel winery experience. The hotel is top notch. The staff are polite and attentive. There grounds, pool, dining and room are immaculate. We met Masimo the owner and his wife and learned about their story to restore and provide an excellent hotel experience. Horseback riding within 10 minutes, wine tasting, and centrally located to visit Pisa, the coast, San Gimignano, Sienna, Florence, etc…. Truly a fantastic location and experience! We just returned from a fantastic trip to Italy highlighted by our time at Villa le Calvane. Eva and Gemma were wonderful communicating with us prior to our trip so all our activities could be coordinated. They informed us that many of the activities we were interested in (horseback riding, truffle hunting, winery tour) were offsite and so would require us to drive, but they were very helpful in arranging a private ride back and forth to Florence and a 2-day car rental while we were at the property so we could go to these activities and take a day trip to Pisa. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, the grounds were clean and well-maintained, and the views were phenomenal. We very much appreciated everyone's efforts in making our stay so fabulous!

One of the finest hospitality experiences I have ever had. The property is unbelievably beautiful. We were in a two bedroom suite, each bedroom with its own bath. The space was incredible. During our four night stay we elected to have dinner at the property three times; it was that good. Most significant to our experience were the outstanding staff and the serene environment. The staff could not have been more attentive. They assisted us with restaurant and activity reservations. On property they were there whenever we needed them. With only 15 rooms, you could feel like you were staying in your own private mansion. Views of the Tuscan countryside are everywhere and stunning. Ta truly unforgettable experience.
