"We absolutely loved our stay at Sunset House! Close to such beauty and fun activities. We headed out for adventure each morning and would retreat "home" each night to watch the sunset (or magical mist!) and have some downtime as a family. It was the perfect balance. The house is so comfortable, and the view / location can't be beat! Ingrid was a wonderful host - I had a few questions and she got back to me promptly and was incredibly patient and helpful. "Alan's house was a wonderful place to base our family (w/ 2 kids, 6 and 9) for visiting Santa Elena and Monteverde; it is a very charming spot with breath-taking views, my boys loved having breakfast and spotting rainbows our first morning. The house was spotless and the kitchen very well-equipped (with cookware and cutlery in excellent condition). Alan and his wife were extremely gracious hosts, always easy to contact and eager to help. We hope to come back soon!"

"This property was such an experience. It’s not just any day you stay in a yurt! This one was classy, and very tastefully done! Tile floors, gorgeous style, even has a hot tub!! It’s a little bit of a rough drive down the mountain, but that is the way of Costa Rica! Laura was very gracious and kind. She even brought us a gift of local honey as we checked out:)"
