"The Casablanca Hotel has a very collegial staff who take a lot of pride in the property. The hotel has a dining area with a microwave and an electric kettle that makes breakfast easy, and a spot where you can make a cup of coffee when you want. I was especially impressed with the housekeeping staff. Everyone spoke to this 73 old solo traveler and made me feel welcome. This is a quiet hotel in the middle of everything like fruit vendors, bakeries, and walks to La Rambla de Montevideo, and the Plaza de Independencia. I even was able to take the public bus back and forth to the airport. The Casablanca will be a favorite memory. John from Albuquerque."
